The following example shows the G Major chord. The chord begins on the root note, which is lablled as 1. The keybed starts lower down the keyboard at C, to help you position the chord.
Now you can experiment with changing the type of chord, the root note, the voicing and the inversion. You can change the key which starts the keybed, toggle to display a stave and select a relevant key-signature or duplicate or delete the current keybed.
The next example shows the G Major chord in second inversion alongside a G Major scale labelled across the top of the keys. If you select a root from the Label with scale/chord menu and then select a scale it will label the scale along the top of the keys.
One advantage of being able to view particular chord and scale simultaneously is that it helps visualise how a chord and scale interlink together.
